CEO Daniel Meyer

My name is Daniel, and I became CEO (Chief Executive Officer) in January 2022, taking on the task of shaping Kandelium's future together with a great management team. I've been working in various roles and fields in the chemical industry in Europe and Asia for over 30 years. During all this time, I've been enthusiastic about creating "value with values". Central topics for me are strategy, customer focus, employee and organizational development and sustainable growth. I have a clear goal: to give Kandelium and the chemical industry in Europe the sustainable means to provide optimal products and service to our customers in the future.

CTO Dr. Marita Paasch

I have been CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and Managing Director at Kandelium since October 2022. With over 20 years of management experience in the top management of internationally active technology companies in various industries – both in corporations and medium-sized companies –, my special expertise lies in increasing companies’ efficiency and profitability by optimizing business models and processes, implementing new technologies, and realizing measures to increase performance in order to secure profitable growth and thus future viability in the long term through transformation.

CFO Thomas Dr. Riegler

I have been CFO and Managing Director at Kandelium since September 2024, being responsible for Controlling, Accounting, Finance, Insurances, Legal, Risk & Compliance as well as ESG and Information Technology. I draw upon more than 30 years of professional experience as Manager and Executive Board Member in all size of companies and in several industries, 15+ years as CFO and more than 5 in the chemical industry. Across the world, I have navigated corporations and midsize companies through periods of transformation, growth and radical change. My specialties are to catalyze and accelerate company’s performance and profitability to best in class.

CHRO Marinka Zeiss

I am Marinka and have been responsible for the Human Resources department at Kandelium as CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer) since October 2022. After completing my studies in business administration, I worked in the human resources sector in various industries; most recently, I held a global human resources management function in a medium-sized international family-owned chemical company. I also completed my MBA in Heidelberg as well as a training as a systemic coach. I am enthusiastic about new leadership, cultural and transformation development as well as people experience.

Business Unit Manager Care Julien Guiu

I’m Julien and hold a dual role in Kandelium.  I run the Business Unit Care, which sells percarbonate to the detergent industry. And I am also responsible for strategic projects in the field Marketing and Business Development. I joined the team in July 2022.

Before joining Kandelium, I spent 15 years in China and Asia. I've been working in sales, marketing and business development in the consulting and chemical industry for over 20 years and hope to bring my strong international background to Kandelium's business.

Business Unit Manager Barium& Strontium Rodolfo Romero

My name is Rodolfo. As Business Unit Manager Barium Strontium, I am responsible for sales and production. I am a chemical engineer and have been working for the company for over 32 years at our locations in Mexico and Germany – first in the Solvay Group, and now with Kandelium.

Managing Director Edwin Fonseca

I am Edwin, a chemical engineer with postgraduate degrees in business administration and strategic leadership management. As Managing Director of Kandelium Mexico, I work to continually improve the company with competitive products and services as well as environmentally sustainable operations. My central goals are to grow the business and to optimally support my colleagues.
In my more than 20 years of work in the chemical industry in America, Europe, and Asia, I‘ve occupied various positions in the fields of sales, operations, innovation and project management.
