IXPER® products are solid carriers of active oxygen, which upon contact with water release hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide generated releases oxygen and water upon reaction and decomposition. The low solubility of IXPER® means that the rate of oxygen generation can be controlled in different applications. IXPER® products are used to provide the performance benefits of hydrogen peroxide/ active oxygen release (like bleaching, oxidation, ….) delivered in medium and long term.
In fact, the low solubility of IXPER® allows the user to control the rate of oxygen generation and to provide performance benefits in a wide range of applications. It can be used as a stand-alone product or mixed with other ingredients into a formulated or compounded product.
As Oxygen Release Compound (ORC) pumped in the polluted ground, IXPER® slow O2 release enhances the bio-remediation processes.
In ponds’ water treatment (ornamental or farming ponds) IXPER® products find application in oxygenation, odor removal and algae control.
IXPER® products are highly utilized as germination boosters during seeds sowing and also in seeds coating processes.
As a tooth whitening agent in toothpaste formulations
In the baking industry it is extensively used as a dough conditioner in the production of buns. It has also been used to enhance the properties of croutons, French toast sticks, pizza bagels, and other specialty bread products (FDA approved).
